Conway is making major investments in parks. With 3-1 voter support, the city plans to spend 40-50 million dollars over the next 20 years. The recently purchased 90 acres in the core of Conway is just the beginning. The widely used walking and creek trails will expand into a full blown trail system complete with interpretive components. While the number of new facilities for baseball, soccer and general playgrounds will more than double. And many of the existing 14 parks will be recreated to a much higher standard. Soon every citizen will be within walking distance of public park space.
