Room To Breathe
Conway is committed to creating parks that are engaging, sustainable and educational. With 3-1 voter support, the city plans to invest $40-50 million in parks over the next 20 years. Soon, every citizen will be within walking distance of a public park space.
Conway has 16 existing city parks, most with picnic and camping areas, playgrounds, and open space. Others have tennis and basketball courts; hiking and biking trails; and areas to swim, boat, fish and participate in various water sports. The city’s new softball and baseball complexes are among the best in the region and attract hundreds of visitors to the area for tournaments.
