Vacation Tour & Travel Announces Plans
24,000 square-foot building takes shape on Interstate 40
April 11, 2011 Vacation Tour & Travel, a leading provider of high value leisure vacation experiences, is announcing plans to build a new headquarters in Conway. The three million dollar 24,000 square foot office building will be located at 235 Tilk Road adding a definite presence on the Interstate 40 frontage road leading to the current Conway Airport. Site work has begun and the facility is expected to be complete in the fourth quarter of 2011.
In 2000, Vacation Tour and Travel began aligning itself with quality high profile cruise and vacation ownership developers. The company is marketing its products through a variety of channels, focusing on deeply discounted vacation packages through partnerships with national brands, affinity database acquisitions, and a variety of other highly targeted sources. Vacation Tour and Travel is one of the first offices in the United States to be associated with Carnival Cruise Lines.
Vacation Tour and Travel Founder Wendell Flemister said, “We are thrilled with Conway and the surrounding community as we continue our successful journey together. The new location will allow us to expand from 150 full and part time employees to the 250 mark”.

The new facility allows Vacation Tour and Travel to offer a 100-125 new positions. Total local employment is expected to be more than 250 employees.
