CDC DONATES $5,000 TO ARKANSAS ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT FOUNDATION

Conway, AR — The Conway Development Corporation presented a check for $5,000 on Thursday to the Arkansas Economic Development Foundation, the foundation that supports the efforts of the Arkansas Department of Economic Development.
Accepting the check, Gus Vratsinsas of Little Rock said, "It hasn't happened very often that a community shares its wealth with the foundation. Most of the foundation's support comes from businesses and corporations."
Presenting the check, Conway Development Corporation President Bill Hegeman said, "Conway fully appreciate the work done by the foundation and knows how much the foundation can use this support to continue doing the work it does for Arkansas."
Mayor Tab Townsell said, "Conway benefits more than we give back from the state's economic development efforts. The partnership we have with the state is very important to us."
